This is a 1998 911 Carrera S (993) that was ordered under the Porsche Exclusive Programme. It has many of the available options (see total list below). I have the “Certificate of Authenticity” (aka. “Birth Certificate”) obtained from Porsche. This car has undergone a complete renovation, with a newly rebuilt engine (approximately 7,000 miles ago), New Bilstein Shock absorbers, Updated sound system, custom exterior paint using the original Porsche body color (Ocean Blue) with lime metallic green accents (see photos), and a redone interior using the original leather color (Midnight Blue) with accents of lime green perforated leather seat inserts and non-perforated panel accents. All body/engine parts that have been changed were replaced with Genuine Porsche parts.   The car came originally from FL and since I have owned it (11 years), it has been garaged in AZ. There are no signs of rust or deterioration that is not unusual for cars in the snow areas of the country. This two-owner car represents the pinnacle of the air-cooled era of Porsche cars. “In car design, total perfection is impossible, but they got close with the 993.” (Friedrich Bezner) This is the last ½-year of production for this car (only 1201 Carrera S models were built for the US). Many have said that this body is one of the most beautiful Porsche ever produced, and this example is one of the best (and certainly most unique) of the Carrera S cars available. The addition of the Turbo II Aerokit (from the factory) provides a beautiful enhancement to the lines of the car. This is practically a new car and due to all of the recent work performed is likely in better condition than many, if not all, of the lower mileage examples that you will find. The CarFax was clean when I purchased the car. In my opinion, except for the GT3/GT2 models, this is the last real “sports car” Porsche made as they transitioned to more Sport-Luxury cars.
